Cricket

We offer a wide range of opportunities for playing cricket:

  • Our first and second Saturday XIs play in the premier and second divisions of the Invicta League, one of the main club leagues in Kent. 
  • The Sunday Village XI play in the highly competitive Kent Village League. The emphasis is on development of younger players with the support of more experienced colleagues.
  • The Sunday XI play a varied and always enjoyable mix of friendly fixtures. Age and ability is no bar to selection with a willingness to work hard and play hard the main criteria.
  • There are a number of mid-week fixtures against long-standing visitors and tourists. 
  • Junior coaching for boys and girls aged 6-15 takes place under the leadership of qualified coaches on Sunday mornings between 10.00 and 12 noon from May 4 to July 27 inclusive.  We have under-11, under-13 and under-15 teams entered in the Weald Junior League.
